About My Clients
I work with queer adults and teens navigating a variety of experiences including identity and gender exploration, trauma, life transitions, neurodivergence, anxiety, and depression. You are the expert in your own life and therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I hope to work together to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard and seen.
My Background and Approach
My approach centers on creating a space where we can explore your unique experiences and build authentic connections with yourself and others. With a background in trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and an awareness of anti-fatness and diet culture, I focus on co-creating tools and strategies that resonate with your personal journey. Whether you're navigating your identity, improving relationships, or addressing mental health challenges, my goal is to support you with insight, empathy, and gentleness. My therapeutic practice is informed by relational therapy, which emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship in fostering growth. I integrate attachment theory to help understand how early relationships shape your interactions and sense of self. I use somatic approaches to explore how your body holds and processes emotions and experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in centering clients' experiences and exploring the ways our identities, relationships, and cultures shape us and how we navigate the world.
