Each of us experience difficulties and struggles in life that can leave us feeling worried, overwhelmed, and exhausted. When faced with these challenges, it can be difficult to understand and process our thoughts and emotions. It is my honor as a counselor to partner with clients in creating a safe space where we can work together to explore challenges, improve coping, strengthen relationships, and find meaning in life.
I find meaning working with others as they strive to move through life's inherent struggles- sometimes simply trying to stay afloat, sometimes realizing moments of insight and positive change. I enjoy working with individuals experiencing difficulties with mood and/or anxiety, traumatic experiences, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
