Depression is a mental health disorder that affects mood, including how you feel, think, and behave. Everyone feels sad sometimes, but when it starts to affect your ability to perform daily tasks and your ability to enjoy things that typically bring you happiness, you may be suffering from depression. The symptoms of depression vary from person to person, but often include feeling miserable without a clear reason why, anxiety, agitation, insomnia or sleeping too much, hopelessness, changes in eating, and/or foggy thinking. Depression may also cause recurrent thoughts of death or suicide (or even a wish that it would all 'stop' in an abstract sense). If you think you might be suffering from depression, a qualified mental health therapist can help. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s depression experts today!

I work with teens and adults. When patients come in (or we meet virtually) they bring with them a host of concerns that often go above and beyond anxiety, depression, or a trauma history. Low self-esteem, feelings of shame or guilt, regrets, experiences of loss and the grief that comes as a result, and existential concerns are all matters my patients bring to therapy. Life transitions, adjustment difficulties, difficulties in relationships are also challenges my clients work through in therapy.

I work with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, sexual concerns, and inconvenient arousal templates. They may struggle with emotional regulation, low self-esteem, or stress in relationships. Some face compulsive sexual behaviors or conflicts in arousal patterns that cause distress. I use CBT, DBT, mindfulness to help clients manage urges, navigate relationship complexity and build healthier, fulfilling sexual relationships.

I work with adults & couples from various communities who feel stuck, would like to learn new coping skills, heal & grow. While navigating relationship issues, life transitions or trying to understand why you are in pain it is healing to be seen, heard & accepted. I strive to create this in our work while helping you to connect with & understand parts of yourself you may have kept hidden. Areas also include improving communication, learning to process emotions & reactivity, boundaries & ADHD.

My ideal clients are motivated and committed adults who have experienced childhood abuse, trauma, challenging relationships, depression, and anxiety and it still affects their lives; which is now known as Complex PTSD. CPTSD is often a result of insecure attachment with parents or caregivers during childhood which also manifests as CODEPENDENCY and LOVE ADDICTION. I offer tools to manage stress and daily challenges. I provide INDIVIDUAL therapy only (NO COUPLES OR FAMILY).

Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
