Feeling a certain level of anxiety over big stressors or certain life events is totally normal. However, if you find that your fear or worry does not go away and, in fact, gets worse over time, you may be suffering from an anxiety disorder. Mild anxiety is vague and unsettling and often passes quickly, while severe anxiety can seriously affect your day-to-day life. If you are finding your anxiety unmanageable, can’t identify the cause of your anxious feelings or if you are suffering from physical symptoms (such as heart palpations, fatigue, sweaty hands, upset stomach, or insomnia), it may be time to get help. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s anxiety specialists today.

I'm not sure about "ideal client", but I have helped a lot of folks, both in private practice and community care, work through their anxiety and build up their confidence. I've helped people grow and repair their relationships, and also how to set boundaries and walk away when a relationship is too toxic. I utilize ACT, which is about helping learning how to accept out emotions and gain more control over how we react to them in our lives.

I am fascinated by how our family relationships can impact our adult relationships, our self worth, and our place in the world. I work most well with clients who are curious towards their past experiences and I can support them in understanding the impact of these experiences. I am currently able to provide individual and couples counseling.
