Grief and loss are a part of the human condition. Grief is typically considered to be brought on by the death of a loved one, but can also be triggered by any significant life-altering loss (such as a divorce or the loss of a job). Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t make it easy to deal with. Symptoms of grief may include sadness, loneliness, anger, denial, depression and a myriad of other thoughts and feelings. There is no “normal” amount of time for grief to pass, but if you find that your grief is not improving over time or that it is interfering with your everyday life, you may want to consider seeking professional help. A qualified grief counselor can help you to cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive responses to loss. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s grief experts today.

Maybe you and your partner are considering opening your relationship to others, or you already practice polyamory or consensual nonmonogamy (CNM). Let’s work together to discover how you, as the individual or partners, want that to look & feel. Overarchingly, I value helping my clients examine their own boundaries & needs, while learning to manage difficulties created by anxiety & fear. These feelings are natural responses, but they can sometimes feel overwhelming and upsetting. Let’s talk!

I work with couples and individuals of all sexual, gender, and racial orientations. I support clients in breaking old habits, defeating false perceptions, and developing new, positive ways of living. Therapy is individualized, but typically leads to becoming more authentic with others, and accessing and manifesting the power of one's true nature. In doing so, clients can skillfully access their potential, reconnect with their creativity, and navigate any challenges or transitions life presents.

Do you find yourself feeling lost, not knowing how to find a new normal? Are you breaking down over small things? Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and stuck? Throughout our lives, change is inevitable, and it is HARD. When we are struggling, it is easy to feel like we are not enough—that we should be doing more, adjusting faster, “getting over it”, and enjoying our lives. I want you to know that it is okay to not be okay. What you feel is not forever, and a new normal is possible.
