Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a classic talk therapy technique that helps increase awareness of negative thinking in order to better handle challenging situations. In addition to helping those with mental health disorders (such as anxiety or depression), CBT is also helpful for anyone who is looking to learn how to manage stressful situations. Therapists that use CBT often have a structured program, which involves a set number of sessions. CBT is frequently paired with other treatments, such as medication, when necessary. Think this approach may be right for you? Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s CBT experts today.

If you are looking for direct, no-nonsense style we are probably a good fit. I work with people experiencing anxiety, sleep problems, men's issues, relationship problems, and/or sexual concerns. My work is solution-focused, leaning more into present day concerns than early life experiences. If you are seeking therapy because you recognize a need for change, and are looking to implement a plan to make that change happen, I may be able to help.

I work with clients who live with intense emotions. Deep depression, constant anxiety, intense anger, or on the other end—clients who tend to avoid feeling all together. Emotions often drive my client's choices—how they choose to behave or speak (or bow out of engaging/speaking) depends on how they are feeling. This way of living can feel chaotic and damage relationships. My clients become aware of their thoughts and emotions without being ruled by them.

I work with high-achievers, professionals, and leaders who appear successful on the outside but feel stuck, disconnected, or unfulfilled. My clients often struggle with stress, relationships, self-doubt, or perfectionism. They’re used to solving problems on their own but are realizing that willpower alone isn’t enough. Therapy helps them break unhelpful patterns, build emotional resilience, and create real, lasting change.
