Have you been through a lot, yet struggle each day? You feel overwhelmed, stuck, and that life has derailed from what it once was or what you want it to be. Trauma profoundly changes all aspects of life, altering your worldview, relationships, ability to trust yourself/others, and sense of self. You want to reclaim your life, heal from the past rather than relive it, and are curious about somatic therapy. Whether you are here because of a single or multiple event(s), I am here to support you.

I work with individuals and couples/partners who feel anxious or disconnected and who are often seeking help navigating the impact of previous trauma on current relationship concerns, particularly around identity, sexuality, intimacy, marginalization, and nontraditional partnerships. I support clients in increasing connection and shifting imbalances in their relationships with compassion and accountability rather than blame.
My work is trauma-informed, culturally responsive and has a strong social justice framework that emphasizes equity, accessibility, and inclusion. I work with individuals and couples/unions from all sociocultural backgrounds, and specialize in therapy for anxiety, trauma (C-PTSD), depression, surviving systemic marginalization/oppression, existential crisis/exploration, self-identity expression, body diversity/eating disorders (HAES), and living with a disability or chronic pain/illness.
Many of my clients come to me for support on their trauma healing journeys, expressing a desire to break cycles, set boundaries, and develop a stronger sense of identity, self worth, and trust in themselves. I love guiding people toward more authentic and fulfilling relationships. I welcome clients of all identities (more on that below) and those attending therapy for the first time or the 50th time.
You've been told you're "too sensitive" or "too emotional." You feel like you can't trust yourself to make decisions, because you always "screw it up" and your mind is constantly going, replaying memories or rehearsing for the future. You find yourself in similar unfulfilling relationship patterns that leave you questioning your worth and loveability. You lose yourself in relationships, putting others' needs before your own. You're questioning if it can ever really be different.
Have you have lost the spark in your relationship? Are struggling through conflict and strain? Are being impacted by childhood trauma and attachment concerns? Possibly you are hoping to strengthen an already strong relationship? We all bring our unique selves, our pasts, and family histories into each relationship. It can be challenging to find balance and harmony with so many different factors interacting with each other. Using a collaborative approach, I can help clear the pathway forward.

My typical clients seeking assessments are late-diagnosed adults who are on a quest for self-discovery within the realm of neurodivergence. Many have faced the frustration of previous misdiagnoses, while others carry a hunch based on their own research or discussions with peers. This diverse group consists of individuals who range from being comfortable with self-diagnosis to those who yearn for the validation and precision that a professional assessment can provide.
My clients have had childhood or life trauma; had heartbreak & break-ups; have challenges in their relationships (familial/romantic); are Neuro-typical and diverse (Autism/Aspergers/ADHD); Cope by using alcohol, substances or problem behaviors; are in Life transition, want to improve their careers or have test anxiety; are CIS, Trans & gender non-conforming; straight, queer & non-binary; monogamous & non-monogamous; recent graduates, under-employed, over-worked, disabled and retired.
My clients are often women (but, not always) seeking clarity and support around their current life situations, changes and challenges - Maybe it's trying for or having a new child while balancing work, social and interpersonal relationships. Maybe it's processing loss/grief/change - including a influential person, a job, a move to a new city, a role in life (parenting). We can identify and practice shame resilience skills. We go through change all the time and you don't have to be alone with it.
My specialty areas include navigating infertility and childlessness, managing anxiety, ADHD, stress around work, family, dating, relationships, college and life transitions. I am licensed in and accepting clients from Oregon, New York and Washington.
I love helping people look at old patterns of coping and interacting in the world, and seeing how those patterns influence their daily life. I work well with people who want to go under the surface of what's going on and look at what may be lurking underneath. This can understandably bring up some feelings of apprehension, and we will always go at a pace that feels right and safe for you. You're in the driver's seat, and I'm helping to navigate.

Anxiety, depression, rage, fear, and low self-esteem is a major concern in our day to day lives. Are you feeling it too? Let's work together to understand what’s happened to you, how it's connected to your story and how it's impacting you right now. Regain some sense of control with an in-depth understanding that the most difficult issues within partnering, parenting, friendships, career, and lifestyle are impacted by your unique story and framed by your beliefs, you can find some relief.
You may have been dealing with anxious or distressing thoughts and feelings for a while now, but are finally noticing that they are unmanageable. This may look like loops in your thoughts and feelings, reliving past trauma, broken relationships, or feeling like your needs are never met. Rather than participating in life, it may feel like you’re just going through the motions. I work best with folks who are motivated to change but who feel unsure how to start that process.
My clients are often looking for a sense of direction and perspective as they go through significant life transitions. They may feel disillusioned with their work or relationships, or struggle to let go of habits that don't serve them anymore. They have a sense that a different way is possible, but are not sure how to get there. Some are just taking the first steps towards change, and others are already on their path and want support as they learn from and integrate their experiences.
