I specialize in helping adolescents and adults navigate challenges and work towards personal growth and healing. A central aspect of my approach is building rapport with my clients , helping them feel at ease when discussing difficult and painful topics. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in helping individuals succeed in therapy and achieve their goals.
Who are you, really? People trust you with a lot—at work, at home, in your relationships—and you deliver. You’ve always had it together. But at what cost? Are you tired of feeling on edge, exhausted, or insecure? Maybe it’s hard to say exactly what’s wrong, but something’s not right. You know life could be better. Let’s figure it out together.
Are you facing significant life changes and feeling overwhelmed by the uncertainty ahead? Do recurring patterns and challenges continue to hold you back? You're not alone, and I'm here to support you every step of the way. As a seasoned licensed clinical social worker, I specialize in helping individuals navigate through times of transition and uncertainty. Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

Do you suffer from chronic pain or anxiety? Have you had panic attacks? Can you fall asleep easily? I help with chronic pain management, anxiety (general anxiety, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder), insomnia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Do you have a habit you want to stop? I also help with hair pulling, skin picking, weight loss management or stopping smoking with hypnosis.
I help adults navigate the ups and downs of being human, inspire new ways of thinking, and learn new ways of being. I trust that you are the expert of your own life and will treat you as such. Your experiences and feedback guide what's covered in therapy, which makes our time together individualized to who you are and relevant to what's going on in your life.
Did you grow up in a controlling, high-demand religious environment? The adverse experiences in this type of setting can lead to feeling like you don't know who you are or what you believe. You may feel torn apart, like there are multiple versions of you in different settings. This can affect the way you treat romantic partners, coworkers, and authority figures. You may also feel conflicted about your identity, your sexuality, and even your body.
Many of my clients feel as though they are navigating a "quarter-life crisis" and are looking to improve their relationship patterns, heal from attachment trauma, and find more meaning and fulfillment in their lives. I also work with many adults who identify as "adult children of emotionally immature parents". I love working with women in their 20’s and 30’s who are motivated to grow and have a desire to understand themselves on a deeper level.
Are you tired of holding? Whether it's holding it all together, holding everything in, or holding on to hope, it's all exhausting. Of course you're feeling burnt out, isolated, or lost. I promise to accept you regardless of what you've done, how you've behaved, or your darkest thoughts. I'm an individual and relationship therapist, but specialize in the LGBT+ population, poor communication skills, anxiety/depression, and non-monogamous relationships.

My ideal client values progress, real indicators of healing day by day, collaboration, is confident about their experience and is ready for a nonjudgmental ear. I see people who have anxiety, depression, loss, trauma, confusion, relational difficulty, parents who need support with their children, couples, individuals, families and teens.
You're struggling to find your footing, held back by the weight of traumatic experiences or just trying to navigate the day riddled with anxiety or unrelenting sadness. You can remember a time when life didn't seem so heavy but wonder if it's possible to return to that place. You are surrounded by others who are unaware of the depth of your suffering, and you work hard not to burden them with your problems. You bury yourself in distractions just to experience momentary relief.
Do you have a narcissistic parent or partner? Are you always trying to please them, but never quite feeling good enough? Do you feel easily overwhelmed, sensitive, or the need to be perfect? If so, you're not alone. I specialize in narcissistic abuse recovery, highly sensitive people, and perfectionism/overthinking. Navigating these types of relationships can be difficult, but with self-compassion, healthy boundaries, and support, you can reclaim your self-worth and find healing.
If you are seeking relationship therapy to foster growth, change, and spontaneity, I can help. If you are an individual with questions about identity, self-esteem, and self-actualization, I can help. If you are a member of a queer or gender-diverse community, or are considering that you may be, and need a therapeutic relationship that is affirming and supportive, I can help. My approach emphasizes a safe and welcoming space where you can explore your feelings and experiences without judgment.
Are you wanting a better relationship but just do not know where to begin? Sometimes when a couple just verbalize each others perspectives, hearing something new may change how they interact and move forward. Having new tools to communicate and see your relationship help tremendously.

Many clients come to me having tried traditional talk therapy unsuccessfully, seeking support with relationship issues, mood and anxiety concerns, grief, chronic pain, and trauma (including trauma related to unresolved childhood issues and damaging relationships). My trauma-informed, body-centered relational approach allows you to explore how you may be clinging to traumatic memories, to confront fear and self-doubt, to integrate disowned parts of yourself, and to release what is limiting you.
With my therapeutic lens, I see the best in my clients. I see their strengths and where they are working to improve. I do my best to understand where they are coming from and meet them where they are. So when we have sessions together, know that you are getting someone who is on your side. Even in family or couples sessions, no one is the bad guy. The problem is the bad guy. We work as a team. We are all allies in tackling this conflict that is making you feel disconnected and frustrated.
Anxiety is tiring. It is always there, nagging “What if..., What if...? You want to feel at peace – to breathe in and out, have space, and not feel pressured. Anxiety hijacks your thoughts and squeezes the space out. Things get tight. Time is short, money is short, and relationships are at risk. We will work together to understand your anxiety better. You can’t know it when you run away from it, or it runs you. We will help you get back in control, feel at peace, and enjoy your life.
I begin the process with a 30-minute virtual consult to see if I would be a good fit as your counselor. Studies suggest that the biggest indicator of success early in treatment is a great personality match between therapist and client. I will spend time getting details about your case, and you get to decide if I’m the right clinician for you.
