About My Clients
I currently offer individual sessions for children aged 10+, teens & young adults, and parents. I have experience helping clients with emotion regulation, social skills, executive functioning, conflict resolution, self-esteem challenges, relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, social anxiety, and/or body image. I also offer parent coaching for families who are looking to improve relationships and enhance parenting skills to better navigate childrearing & other life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from Northcentral University with a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in Child and Adolescent Therapy. My therapeutic style is flexible, open-minded, and client-focused. By combining tools and insights from multiple perspectives, my approach helps client think more introspectively about who they are and how they can better appreciate their strengths and sensitivities to navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to create a comfortable space that promotes vulnerable and authentic experiences that can lead to growth, self-acceptance, and healing. I utilize tools and interventions from various theoretical perspectives including solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. Depending on the level of support needed, sessions can be weekly, biweekly, or once a month.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In my personal time, I enjoy exploring Seattle’s walking trails, finding a new coffee spot, and looking for the best thrift stores. I am also a big fan of staying home, cooking, watching comedy, listening to podcasts, and cleaning/organizing. I love talking documentaries, health & fitness, and food spots!
