My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. With years of experience, I specialize in helping young adults navigate anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and self-doubt. I’m also EMDR-certified, allowing me to support clients in healing from past experiences and building emotional resilience. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, heard, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Using evidence-based techniques like CBT, EMDR, and Solution-Focused Therapy, I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals. Therapy with me isn’t just about talking—it’s about gaining practical tools, self-awareness, and confidence to move forward. I believe that everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, valued, and supported. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and I’m passionate about breaking the stigma around seeking help. My work is centered on creating a safe and judgment-free space where clients can explore their emotions, overcome obstacles, and move toward the life they want. Outside of therapy, I enjoy staying active, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I value lifelong learning, self-growth, and being present for those in need. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their strengths and build a fulfilling, meaningful life.
