I work with individuals and couples, especially those who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent, as well as anyone facing challenges with anxiety, depression, communication, life transitions, and more. Working as a postpartum doula for a decade has allowed me to work with couples and see first-hand the various dynamics present in marital, parental, and familial relationships. Therapy is all about bridging the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.
You and I will explore together the full expanse of who you are. What brings you alive? What do you want to understand? How you are bearing the world? How do you experience love and pain, growth and suffering? I work with adult individuals interested in the journey of healing-- in body, mind, and spirit. As we talk through what is going on in your life, we will harness your body's wisdom and the power of the nervous system to generate a greater sense of wholeness and freedom.
I specialize in working with adults and older adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and/or going through life transitions - whether that's career, relationship, or restarting your life. Having worked in the healthcare setting, I am well versed in working with healthcare professionals navigating burnout. I enjoy working with individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals practicing/exploring non-traditional relationships (e.g., ethical non-monogamy, kink)
Did you grow up in a controlling, high-demand religious environment? The adverse experiences in this type of setting can lead to feeling like you don't know who you are or what you believe. You may feel torn apart, like there are multiple versions of you in different settings. This can affect the way you treat romantic partners, coworkers, and authority figures. You may also feel conflicted about your identity, your sexuality, and even your body.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

On the outside, it seems like everything is in place, but underneath, anxiety has been a constant companion. Juggling college or starting your career, navigating relationships, & handling the pressures of young adulthood can feel like an uphill battle. You're caught between striving for success & feeling overwhelmed by the weight of expectations. Balancing it all seems like an unreachable goal. Yet, in the midst of this chaos, you recognize the need for change.
The lingering effects of trauma can show up in many forms. Perhaps you suffer symptoms of perfectionism, burnout, anxiety or depression. Or you find yourself repeatedly returning to unhealthy relationships with substances or people. Despite your very best efforts you relive the same patterns over and over. Our work together will offer a slow, gentle narrative- and body-focused approach to understanding these patterns and discovering a softer, easier way.
I work with adults with depression, anxiety, managing neurodivergency, and unlearning of colonized mindsets. I especially love working with clients on developing healthier relationships with their partners, family, friends, and in the workplace. I also work with children, teens and families regarding school aged issues and a side of parenting coaching and mental health psychoeducation.
You are here because you're looking for help - stress, anxiety, depression, life's transitions, or just a final attempt to “make it better.” I am here to sit with you, hear your story, and look at what is weighing you down. While I work best with those who lead with openness, curiosity and a true desire for personal growth, I also recognize folx show up in different places in life's emotional experience. Therapy is a journey back to a place of hope and belonging, and it is my honor to join you.

As a provider, I am attuned to your uniqueness and wholeness as we work in service to you and your life journey. My counseling work is strengths-based, humanistic, transpersonal, somatic, and existential. I work with people of all genders to merge the divide between mind and body. I specialize in working with queer and trans adults and teens (13+), as well as individuals in non-monogamous relationships; autistic folks; and survivors of trauma and abuse. In our work together, you will have the space to dig into the identities, stories, and experiences that impact you and how you move through the world as an embodied, emotional person.
I work with individual adults who are looking to shift patterns in their lives. We typically focus on understanding what their problems are trying to communicate and work towards better ways of honoring those needs. Most folks that find me are struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD or unwanted relationship issues but I have training across a variety of diagnosis.
I work to help those with marginalized identities (sexually & gender queer, BIPOC, trans) to heal chronic struggles with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I use my passion for depth work, mindfulness, and self-compassion to build space in which you can know yourself more fully and live more authentically. I help to cultivate more safety and joy in your relationships with others, and with yourself. I make space for you to face the parts of you that are hardest to feel.
I help clients who are dealing with many different issues, including anxiety, family-of-origin issues, couples/relationship issues, & depression. I specialize in alternative lifestyles. My passion is helping clients from any or all of the following groups: geeky, LGBTQIA+, BDSM/kinky, polyamorous/non-monogamous, alternative spiritualities and/or atheists. If you’re searching for an effective and caring therapist who can understand your unique situation, you’ve come to the right person.

Over the last five years I have worked with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, shame, self-harm, suicidal ideation, interpersonal relationships, past trauma, recent trauma, and those who are exploring sexuality and gender identities. I have practiced in a variety of settings and previous clients of mine have had a very wide range of ages, mental health symptoms, identities, life goals, trauma histories, cultural backgrounds, neurodiversities, and lived experiences.
Do you work really hard to pretend you're okay? Are you scared to admit how lonely you feel, even to those closest to you? What if everyone knew how sad, unhappy and worried you feel? Are you flooded by thoughts of what could go wrong, even during "good" times? No matter how hard you try to distract yourself with social media, shopping or TV, anxious thoughts and dread for the day to come bombard you when you try to sleep. These issues impact our relationships with others and especially ourselves.
My work focuses on marriage and couples therapy, specifically centered on infidelity repair, communication issues, couples in crisis, relationships on the brink, and those experiencing a range of frustrations and challenges with physical intimacy. I have been featured in Forbes, the Knot, and other leading media outlets offering my insight into relationships and communication. I would love to meet with you about your unique circumstances and how I might be able to help.
My hope is to take the relationship we build and extend it to the rest of your life outside of the therapy room. I approach therapy with the assumption that clients aren’t trying to make their lives harder, but often that our attempts to manage distress may increase suffering. Through our work together, we will focus on identifying strengths and values that are guiding behavior, and then challenging and changing the unhelpful aspects and thought patterns that make reaching your goals difficult.
