Providing Infant, Early Childhood, Perinatal & Adult Mental Health Services in Boulder, CO.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Boulder, CO

About My Clients

I have 15 years of experience specializing in infant, early childhood, perinatal, and adult mental health. I help prenatal and postpartum parents who may be stressed, overwhelmed or ambivalent, experiencing depression or anxiety, or even feel like they are not bonding with their baby; young children struggling with emotion regulation; adults experiencing a range of issues including stress of life transitions and seeking balance in their lives; and neurodivergent young children and adults.

My Background and Approach

My therapeutic approach is based in psychodynamic principles and attachment-based interventions, and individually tailored to promote reflection, emotion regulation, and healing. I have an extensive knowledge base in infant-parent attachment development and attachment disorders; trauma in infancy and early childhood; trauma in pregnancy and childbirth; and meeting the clinical needs of infants and young children with variations in social, emotional, and behavioral development. I hold an MSW with a concentration on Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and an MSEd in Infant-Parent Development & Early Intervention. I hold an Infant Mental Health Endorsement (IMH-E) as a Clinical Mentor, a Perinatal Psychotherapy Mental Health Certification (PMH-C), and I am a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). I offer therapy in person in Boulder, CO and virtually on Zoom. I currently have availability for new clients.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

From birth, children learn and grow in the context of the parent-child relationship, developing a secure base from which they feel safe to explore and experience the world around them, and learn to regulate when confronted with challenging emotions. Parents also carry their own histories, early caregiving experiences, cultures, beliefs, and values. I work with families navigating challenges in mental health, behavior, and development, while promoting emotion regulation, reflection, healing, and strengthening attachment relationships.
