About My Clients
I support adults who are overcoming a major life transition (separation/divorce, unemployment, military discharge, retirement, returning to school/work), experiencing interpersonal challenges, and coping with stressors. My hope is that we can collaborate towards reaching your treatment goals, whether this is achieving more balance in your day-to-day life, communicating more effectively with your loved ones, to exercising healthier boundaries for yourself.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy with warmth, transparency, and curiosity. I work through an attachment-based lens, exploring how early childhood experiences affect our relationships. I incorporate aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy towards gaining insight and leading a more fulfilling life. I have over twelve years as a psychotherapist. I continue to attend trainings to learn how to best support you and your journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As someone that has utilized various forms of mental health treatment over time (individual, family, group, and couples), I understand and know the power of being seen and validated. It's scary AND empowering. It has led to much growth within myself and in my relationship with my loved ones.
