About My Clients
I love helping people find the best versions of themselves as they work with me. Often people with issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma are looking for a way to escape those feelings. Sometimes it’s though alcohol, drugs or food. Sometimes it’s through other ways such as avoidance, isolation or unhealthy relationships with others. I can help you work through these issues and take you from surviving your daily life to thriving in it.
My Background and Approach
During our first session together, we will focus on what is essentially the reason why you feel you need therapy at this time. We will then focus on the challenges that you are facing. Next we will discuss what you would like to change in order to begin to feel better. Lastly, We will come up with a plan of action for our work together. I decided to become a therapist very early on in life. I feel that it is truly my passion. I express care and concern for people as I focus on their overall well being. I find that my down-to-earth nature has helped me convey empathy and compassion for my clients. This ability has really assisted me in helping others to work through their issues and become the best versions of themselves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I don't believe that there is a limit to the ability to change. I think the main reason we develop mental health issues is because they are unhealthy learned behaviors that we have picked up along the way. Which means that I think you can unlearn the faulty behaviors and replace them with healthy ones.
