On the outside, it seems like everything is in place, but underneath, anxiety has been a constant companion. Juggling college or starting your career, navigating relationships, & handling the pressures of young adulthood can feel like an uphill battle. You're caught between striving for success & feeling overwhelmed by the weight of expectations. Balancing it all seems like an unreachable goal. Yet, in the midst of this chaos, you recognize the need for change.

I work with adults with depression, anxiety, managing neurodivergency, and unlearning of colonized mindsets. I especially love working with clients on developing healthier relationships with their partners, family, friends, and in the workplace. I also work with children, teens and families regarding school aged issues and a side of parenting coaching and mental health psychoeducation.
Gaining awareness of your pain is an important first step. You may have noticed relationship complications, a harsh inner critic, the pangs of anxiety, the ripples of trauma, or a sense of being adrift. However challenging these dilemmas, your hope is for a more compassionate understanding of yourself and authentic connection to others. You want to interrupt your old patterns that diminish your health and wellbeing. Curiosity and a desire to explore these aching dilemmas are a good first step.
What just happened? What is going to happen next? If your life is not adding up right now - you are working tirelessly, and alone- or you cannot tell what is important to pay attention to, I hope you will reach out. Maybe too many people depend on you, or no one does. Do you have anyone to depend on? Is this latest chapter of life a flood of experiences? I want to support you in finding the space, grounding, and perspective you need to build security and community in your life.
You deserve to be a priority in your own life. Most of my clients have a history of surviving trauma, neglect, and relational harm; this can lead to becoming stuck in survival mode which often times conflicts with living mode. I work primarily with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA2S folks who are ready to approach their struggles in a new way. We can work together to restore your sense of self and your ability to direct your life on your terms to achieve your goals!
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

I believe that we each have a unique story and as humans we are capable of holding many conflicting truths. We can love our lives and still experience anxiety and overwhelm from the responsibility of it all. I am here to listen and collaborate, with empathy and without judgment. Together, we can explore how therapy can help you develop deeper understanding and self-compassion, address self-limitations like perfectionism and shame, and discover deeper meaning and purpose from life.
