About My Clients

We specialize in grief, trauma, women's issues, caregiver fatigue, and mental health in veterinary medicine. We understand the interconnectedness between humans, animals, nature, and the therapeutic value of these relationships. We will honor your connection with the human-animal bond and how that impacts and enriches your mental health, therapeutic process, and healing. We offer full fee/sliding scale sessions, free pet loss support groups, and approved supervision for pre-licensure therapists.

Our therapeutic approach is person-centered, strengths-based, compassion-focused, collaborative, and empowering. We fully believe in the importance of integrating different yet complimentary approaches that are most appropriate for each client, and are extensively trained and experienced in a variety of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based treatments. We draw deeply from psychodynamic and attachment-based theories systems lens, trauma-informed, somatic, and narrative therapies, experiential (animal and nature based therapies), mindfulness-based, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), meaning-making reconstruction work, and post-traumatic growth. We embrace honoring each client and their unique stories, lived experiences, and specific needs. We are here to companion you on your journey.
