About My Clients
I primarily work with individuals and families experiencing depression, anxiety and the effects of trauma. These concerns can affect all areas of life including relationships, career, lifestyle and general well being. I do my best to be inclusive and understanding of all regardless of gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, age (though I do not typically see clients under the age of 10), religion, education or any other way that one might relate to.
My Background and Approach
I believe in a holistic and client-centered approach to healing. I recognize that each individual’s journey is unique, shaped by their experiences, values, and aspirations. My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges freely. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Attachment Regulation and Competency (ARC), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These approaches allow us to collaboratively address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. By understanding the underlying patterns and beliefs that influence your experiences, we can work together to cultivate resilience and develop practical strategies for positive change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the inherent worth and resilience of every individual, regardless of their current struggles or past experiences. Each person carries within them the capacity for growth, change, and healing. Central to my approach is the belief that therapy is a collaborative journey. I see myself not as an expert with all the answers, but as a supportive guide who walks alongside you in exploring your inner world and discovering your own truths. I emphasize creating a safe and nurturing space where you can freely express yourself without fear of judgment.
