About My Clients
Are you in your early to mid to late 20s trying to figure out what is going on? This might involve feeling stuck within yourself, your relationships, and or outside influences? Are you navigating life changes and adjustments? It can be overwhelming and feel like you are going through it alone sometimes. My job is to be there to support you in whatever you may need and provide space and tools that will help you reach your goals outside and beyond our work in the therapeutic space.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is holistic and collaborative. I believe we are all a sum of our own experiences and identities that shape who we are and how we interact with the world around us. When we can build our compassion for ourselves and discover our strengths, we can grow to face obstacles and meet our goals. I incorporate humor and creativity to build a safe and non-judgmental space to work. I work with young adults around ages 19 to 30 navigating life transitions. I have a passion for working with females who struggle managing symptoms of ADHD and anxiety. Additionally, I have background in working with individuals of all ages and identities who struggle with substance use. My goal is to help you stop seeing yourself in deficits, but rather your strengths and the things that make you unique so that you can live life feeling free and at peace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I became a therapist because I wanted to be part of making mental health resources more accessible to all people and communities. I was drawn to the profession because of my genuine love and curiosity for all human beings. The most important relationship we have is with ourselves and just like any relationship, getting to know ourselves is a life long process because we are always changing and growing. I think everyone can benefit from some sort of mental health support. You may seek out therapy for a very specific reason or you may be someone who is not sure exactly what your therapeutic goals are. Either way my goal is to provide a space where clients can feel safe, not judged, and accepted for who they are.
