About My Clients
Finding a therapist that is the right fit can be hard. I am a Licensed psychotherapist who partners with families to support their children and young adults through these challenging times. With a focus on anxiety, depression and disordered eating, I support children and families in developing resiliency and thriving.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm and I strive to partner with youth and families to provide additional support and tools to help you and your family on your journey. I specialize in working with youth struggling with depression, anxiety and disordered eating. I obtained my Master of Social Work at San Jose State University and have 10+ years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in providing therapy to youth and their families. In supporting youth and families, I utilize a blend of Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Play Therapy and Parent Coaching. For my client’s struggling with disordered eating, I also use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ARFID, Family Based Therapy and Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
By partnering with families, I believe that we can work together to support your child in overcoming struggles and develop a resiliency that can benefit them the rest of their lives. I approach therapy from a strengths based perspective and support clients in developing skills that uniquely work for their lives. I am anti-racist, and ally to LGBTQ+ community and Health at Every Size aligned.
