About My Clients
I often work with those who feel stuck—whether in their thoughts, emotions, or behaviors—but open to exploring new ways of approaching life’s difficulties. You might feel exhausted from trying to control everything or overwhelmed by uncertainty. Maybe you’re seeking relief from distress but also want deeper insight into yourself and lasting change, not just a temporary fix.
My Background and Approach
I have extensive training and have practiced Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for the past 12 years. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT for insomnia (CBT-I), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), humanistic, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based interventions into my practice. I have experience supporting people through a number of challenges including anxiety, panic attacks, ocd, adhd, chronic illness, insomnia, depression, grief, life transitions, and trauma.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Sometimes it feels like we're moving through life on auto-pilot. With work and other stressors, it is hard to find time to slow down, to breathe, to focus on the present. I believe therapy is about letting go of the things we are trying to control and making choices towards a more fulfilling life. To facilitate this, I help clients openly face life’s challenges and create lasting changes. I offer a collaborative, non-judgmental, and safe space for my clients to facilitate behavior change and self-exploration.
