I have worked with clients in treatment for eating disorders in an inpatient hospital, IOP, PHP and Group Residential home settings, in addition to years in private practice. I currently work with clients who are actively working towards recovery or are who maintaining recovery and diving deeper into the meaning of their journey. My clients come to me with histories of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, & ongoing body image concerns (always from a HAES lens).

My experience includes working at a hospital visiting the Mother/Baby unit, following up with new parents who confided in their doctors about struggles, or who were referred directly to us. I also had the pleasure of working as a counselor on the NorthShore MOMS Line for a couple of years, helping mamas and families with new babies who called directly to the hotline 24/7 from all of the country. I was one of the first people to obtain the PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Certification) through PSI

I work exclusively from a Health at Every Size Approach with my clients and work from a lens of achieving body neutrality with use of modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion and Somatic-based modalities. We dive deeper into the purpose or intentions behind body image disturbances and how these take people away from their intended values.

I was trained in ACT when working at a hospital where ACT was being implemented across all programs. We were trained by psychologists who were on the forefront of this modality becoming widely used in the Midwest. In addition to reading the many works of Steve Hayes, Kelly Wilson and Russ Harris, I have taken trainings with Kelly WIlson, DJ Moran, Kirk D. Strosahl and Patricia J. Robinson, among others. As an ACBS member, I have attended multiple local and International ACBS Conferences

Trained in Brainspotting Levels 1 and 2 (2022, 2025), I specialize in using this powerful modality to support attachment trauma, autistic women, entrepreneurs, and couples. Brainspotting helps lessen the impact of trauma and improve emotional and somatic regulation, making it especially beneficial for neurodivergent individuals. I integrate it with somatic practices, Parts Work, intuitive approaches, and Gottman Method to help clients find clarity, heal, and thrive.
