About My Clients
Clients who stick with me tend to be struggling with similar issues and themes. Identity formation & transformation, perfectionism, neurodivergence, relationships, sex & intimacy, non-monogamy, life transitions, and navigating cultural & systemic oppression are all common themes in my work with clients.
My Background and Approach
I find it important to be transparent about identity markers that may allow potential clients to feel a sense of safety, connection, and belonging when deciding to work with me. I identify as queer, femme, mon-monogamous, gender fluid, kinky, neurodivergent, working class, and sex-positive. My style is warm, client-centered, and playful. I bring humor, lightheartedness, and a youthful energy to the therapy. My approach is eclectic and weaves together psychodynamic, depth, existential, narrative, and feminist frameworks. My commitment as a therapist is to honor the complexity of your humanity, the intersection of your identities, and the whole of your being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’ve been a client in therapy since I was very young, and I've had transformative experiences—many positive and others harmful. I chose to pursue a career in therapy so I could offer a holistic way of healing in a field that tends to pathologize, dehumanize, shame, and over-medicate. I also find that so many therapies miss a vital piece—tending to the soul.
