About My Clients
I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ BIPOC and Asians navigating relational challenges, such as communication, intimacy, boundaries, and healing from religious trauma. I also support clients who are exploring body image issues and the intersections of their racial and queer identities. As a narrative therapist, I believe that our identities are shaped by the stories we tell about ourselves and the relationships we have with others.
My Background and Approach
In our work together, I’ll help you explore and reframe the stories you carry—especially those parts of yourself or your relationships that may have been hidden or overlooked. This process allows you to discover new possibilities and step into a fuller, more authentic version of who you are in your relationships and your life. As a queer immigrant, I understand the challenges of relationships and identity. I’m passionate about helping LGBTQ+ individuals rewrite their narratives, creating empowered, fulfilling connections with themselves and others. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My experience as a queer person growing up in East Asia has led me to help Asian and queer couples and families. Being in queer relationships can be quite lonely due to the lack of support from families. Being a queer person in a family that does not understand the importance of your queer identity can be quite suffocating. I'm here to help queer and Asian families and couples courageously express their desires and start listening with a caring heart.
