About My Clients

I work with children, teens, and adults (ages 5+) from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQI+ communities. Specializing in neurodivergence, trauma, anxiety, depression, I support clients ready to face life's challenges and heal emotional, psychological, and creative wounds. My ideal clients are open to using creative, expressive, evidence-based, and existential approaches to navigate obstacles and build resilience. Together, we'll form a fellowship for growth and healing.

My Background and Approach

At Lonely Mountain Therapy, I integrate DBT, existential therapy, and creative methods such as therapeutic role playing and expressive arts to foster growth, resilience, and empowerment. I welcome those who have been labeled “too much” or “not enough,” especially neurodivergent, BIPOC, and LGBTQI+ individuals. My aim is to provide a safe space where your passions and values guide meaningful change. Whether you seek trauma recovery, improved executive functioning, or existential clarity, our work will be shaped by your unique goals. I also offer the Safe and Sound Protocol, an evidence based listening therapy that supports nervous system regulation and emotional well being. Together, we will move toward the life you envision.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a licensed professional counselor with nearly two decades of experience supporting individuals with developmental needs, substance use disorders, and trauma, as well as protecting children, I stand with all people and offer support to neurodivergent individuals, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ communities, and outsiders of all types. Guided by social justice, multicultural counseling, harm reduction, and cultural humility, I strive to reduce stigma and remove barriers to mental health and neurodevelopmental needs. While I cannot guarantee specific outcomes, I create a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore goals, strengths, and personal backgrounds. Drawing on evidence-based methods and creative, meaning-making approaches, I collaborate with each person to foster resilience, connection, and empowerment. Above all, I believe everyone deserves to be genuinely seen and heard, and I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey toward well-being.
