About My Clients
I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals who have experienced trauma, or negative experiences while in therapy. I also support women navigating the challenges of PMDD, perimenopause and menopause. My approach is grounded in creating a safe, affirming space where you can explore your unique needs and experiences, heal from past wounds, and build resilience. Whether you’re seeking to resolve trauma, understand your neurodivergence, or cope with life transitions, I am here to help.
My Approach to Helping
As your therapist, I will create a safe, and empathetic space where we can explore your current experiences and how earlier experiences have shaped your emotional world. By working from an attachment-focused lens, we can better understand the deep-rooted patterns in your relationships and your sense of self. These patterns, often formed in childhood, influence how we respond to stress, trust others, and navigate connection. A significant part of our work together will involve uncovering and healing the wounded parts of yourself—especially the inner child—who may still carry the weight of past hurts. This process of peeling back the layers of yourself is essential for understanding and transforming emotional burdens like anxiety, people-pleasing, mistrust, defensiveness, and relationship challenges. Healing these parts of you is not about blaming your past, but rather about honoring your past wounds so they no longer dictate your present. The only way out is through.
More About the People I Treat
I am skilled at building rapport with clients and creating a safe, understanding atmosphere where emotional healing can unfold. I believe, as the saying goes, "we are hurt in relationships, and we heal in relationships," which is why developing a strong therapeutic bond is essential to the healing process. For neurodivergent clients, I recognize the often painful history of feeling invalidated and misjudged, and I provide an affirming approach to help them feel seen, heard, and valued. Similarly, for women navigating PMDD, perimenopause, or menopause, I understand the unique challenges they face, often feeling marginalized or misunderstood by society. It’s my goal to provide support that recognizes and honors these struggles, helping you find the understanding and care that is right for you.
