About My Clients
Are you searching for radically compassionate psychotherapy that honors both your emotional and spiritual needs? I work with those who seek to explore emotional healing through a holistic lens, connecting mind, body, and spirit. My clients are often creatives, healers, queer folx, highly sensitive people (HSPs), Buddhists, or other spiritually inclined folks. They may also be deep thinkers and feelers, with a philosophical curiosity about life’s big questions.
My Background and Approach
My approach is person-centered, creating a warm, humor-filled, and down-to-earth space where you feel fully seen and heard. But I won’t just smile and nod—I’m also not afraid to gently challenge you, offer practices to explore between sessions, and hold you accountable to your healing intentions. I see you as fundamentally whole, and my role is to provide a safe container and tools to help you connect with your experience, body wisdom, and mind’s innate healing capacity. Drawing from Buddhist psychology, Hakomi Method principles, and Expressive Arts Therapy (Level 1 training in progress), I guide clients toward radical self-compassion and healing of the mind-body connection. To support emotion regulation, I offer Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills. I also have training in Flash Technique, a gentle, effective approach using bilateral stimulation to reduce emotional distress while reprocessing trauma.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that one of the most important aspects of the healing journey is learning to feel safe in authentic, embodied connection with others—practicing showing up together in our wholeness. To foster that connection, I bring my whole self into the room, which invites clients to do the same. This includes embracing all the intersecting aspects of identity (and non-identity), as well as acknowledging who we are and what we do beyond the healing process. Identities: Queer, non-binary, biracial- Chinese (second generation American) and Caucasian, neurodivergent (highly sensitive person), Artist, 10+ years lived experience with polyamory and non-monogamy, able-bodied, Buddhist, vegan/vegetarian. Passions: Community building, rhythm roller skating, dancing, quilting and fiber arts, visible mending, painting, cooking, Dharma, laughing (!!)
