About My Clients

I am a good fit for: - Women who want to work with a male therapist - Athletes struggling with issues like performance, rehab from injury, motivation, or communication with coaches, teammates and family - Men looking to deepen their personal work - those seeking a guide for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) - Artists who want to work with a therapist who’s an artist as well - Clients who want a culturally-sensitive therapist - Older folks struggling with aging, death, and grief.

My Background and Approach

We both know that being alive comes with immense challenges. At times we can feel lonely, depressed, anxious, unimportant, or overwhelmed. Having a therapist that you love is an immense gift and can help you through these issues and more. I’d love to know if I can be that person for you. My goal is to help you become more aware of how you see yourself in relation to the world and to examine what parts of your life just aren’t working the way you want. Trained in Existential-Humanistic therapy, I believe that our relationship, one that is unlike any other in your life, can be a sanctuary that fully permits you to disarm and be with yourself. This can be profoundly healing and moving.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Growing up in Oakland, I have lived in diverse environments my entire life. My public school education gave me a radical, progressive lens to view the world through. As an African-American Studies major in college, I continued my exploration of critical theory. In my adulthood, unpacking masculinity and becoming a healthy model of masculinity has been a core value of mine. Community building is deeply important to me, and I am lucky to be a part of many wonderful communities. I am also a musician, an artist, a documentary filmmaker, a nature-lover, an athlete, a partner, and a friend.
