About My Clients
Most often, I assist clients in working through their trauma, managing self-harm, and processing emotions through art. You don't have to be an artist to benefit from the power of art-making. I especially enjoy working with teens and young adults who are just coming into their own. Come as you are and we can work together!
My Background and Approach
I graduated in May of 2023 with my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Transpersonal Art Therapy from Naropa University. I've been working since my internship with adults, families, and children on a variety of issues but especially with trauma. I come from a background that uses mindfulness and art to aid in healing. While I'm passionate about working with art therapy, it's not necessary in treatment if that's not your thing!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in kindness above all else not only in therapy but in daily life as well. I believe that all humans deserve basic rights. Knowledge of and participation in social justice issues is an important aspect to providing therapy for all people. I think that most people experience some form of trauma in their lifetime and can benefit from processing it. I also believe that art can be a great avenue for healing, regardless if you're an artist or not. I think it's important for therapists to participate in their own therapy as well. Lastly, I believe that healing is a never-ending journey and there are always ways we can continue to grow and better ourselves. I hope to help you in your own journey!
