As humans, we are wired for connection. This means that when our relationship is in jeopardy, or we have conflict with our partner, it creates intense feelings of distress. The sooner a couple gets to therapy the sooner those hurts can start to heal. Trust, connection and being seen/heard by the other builds the foundation for a loving, connecting intimate relationship. Past wounds can be healed and trust can be rebuilt which can create a relationship that was stronger than it was before.
