About My Clients
I work with individuals whose brains never clock out and whose hearts carry more than they let on. If you find yourself lying awake at night replaying every interaction you’ve ever had (including that awkward thing you said in 2016)—or feeling everything all at once like it’s your full-time job—you’re not alone. Therapy can help you slow down, sort things out, and finally exhale.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I’ve worked in community mental health and intensive outpatient settings, supporting individuals with trauma, complex diagnoses, and everything in between. I use an integrative approach tailored to each client, drawing from: • DBT to help you navigate big emotions without feeling hijacked by them • CBT to challenge patterns that keep you stuck • Narrative Therapy to help you separate from unhelpful stories and reconnect with your voice • Client-Centered Therapy to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and genuinely understood Therapy with me is collaborative, down-to-earth, and tailored to you. I’ll bring practical tools, genuine curiosity, and a little humor when it helps—because sometimes the best healing happens when you feel supported, seen, and even able to laugh in the process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I don’t believe in “fixing” people. I believe in honoring your complexity—your pain, your patterns, your resilience, and your capacity for growth. I value authenticity, empathy, and showing up with curiosity and care. I’m committed to anti-oppressive, affirming care, and I respect the impact of your lived experience and identity. Healing doesn’t require perfection. It requires relationship—safe, honest, human connection. That’s the kind of space I aim to hold for you.
