About My Clients
Life can feel messy, and you just want some sense of control. Maybe ADHD makes it hard to stay focused, manage emotions, or navigate relationships without frustration. You might feel stuck in cycles of procrastination, impulsivity, or self-doubt. Or maybe relationships feel overwhelming—repeating the same patterns, struggling to communicate, or feeling disconnected even when you’re with someone. No matter what brought you here, you want balance, confidence, and tools that help.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed social worker. I come from a client centered, strength based approach where the client leads the session. I specialize in co-occuring diagnoses with neurodivergent individuals. I utilize DBT to help regulate emotions and give you the tools to navigate difficult experiences in your life. I previous experience with ADHD, sex/couples therapy, and body dysmorphia. Whether you're feeling disconnected in your relationship, battling intrusive thoughts, or caught in cycles of worry, I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space to explore your challenges and work toward meaningful change. My approach focuses on empowering you with practical skills while also addressing the emotional roots of your struggles.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is not about "fixing" you. It’s about uncovering your strengths, shifting unhelpful patterns, and gaining the tools to live with more confidence and peace. I firmly believe in affordable and accessible mental health care and will work with clients needs. I have advocated for LGBTQ and marginalized populations in my previous positions within social work and I am passionate about making sure your voice is heard.
