About My Clients
Due to high demand and a full private practice, I am shifting to a group therapy model. My clients in group therapy are typically looking to build relationship skills, increase their resilience, and master stress management.
My Background and Approach
My approach to psychology is integrative and relational. I believe the healing process in therapy depends upon rapport and collaboration. I strive to meet people where they are. I pull tools from a variety of therapies into my work with clients to help them meet their goals. Prior to opening my private practice, I worked internationally as a consultant for mental health. I also worked as a counselor in K-12 education for the Palo Alto and San Francisco Unified School Districts. My post-doctoral training was in forensics.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
For the past 2 years I produced art and healing workshops to build resilience and community in refugee and immigrant populations. I also run a farm for animal assisted therapy to connect others to nature and provide opportunities which may not exist in a modern and urban lifestyle.
