Let’s begin now.
My Background and Approach
Over twenty years ago, I earned a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in trauma work and play therapy for infants, children, and adults who experienced early developmental trauma. My training wove together consciousness studies, relational neuroscience, and somatic approaches. Driven by a commitment to lifelong growth, I went on to complete a Master’s in Social Work and became certified in two trauma‑focused modalities: the Neuro‑Affective Relational Model, a depth‑oriented approach for adults healing childhood wounds, and Synergetic Play Therapy—my true passion—which uses relational neuroscience, therapist authenticity, and mindfulness to rewire the nervous system. I dedicate myself to deep self‑regulation and attunement so I can bring joy, presence, and insight to every client interaction.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that to show up fully in my work, I must remain well‑resourced and care for myself. By keeping a small client load and declining insurance reimbursement, I create the space to offer clients my full presence, deep insight, and attunement. Beyond my practice, I am a committed social activist: I donate to grassroots organizations, participate in direct actions, contact policymakers, and intervene when I witness injustice to protect marginalized communities. For over three decades I’ve worked to dismantle white supremacy within myself and society—a lifelong commitment that has earned recognition from people of the global majority as genuine allyship. I am nonbinary, a survivor, and a former crisis‑agency advocate for victims of crime, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
