As a trauma survivor myself, I understand exactly how you feel, and I can help you to develop more understanding and the tools you need to free yourself from debilitating anxiety, stress and depression enabling you to take your life back.
My Background and Approach
Throughout my career I have done many professional trainings and given talks around helping people to overcome Post Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD, anxiety and depression with holistic forms of treatment. I will help you to identify patterns and feelings living in the unconscious that are keeping you blocked from moving toward your potential and living a fuller more authentic life. We will start with the current issue you are facing, follow the symptoms and work with and identify the underlying issues. I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and hypnotherapy to help you to identify the bigger picture operating in your life. These modalities will help you to release trauma and desensitize old pain, which helps to illuminate and reduce triggers that cause stress and anxiety. Once the trauma is fully processed, you will be able to envision a new future after the wound is healed at its source within the subconscious mind.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strongly believe in our human ability to know our own path to heal if given the proper guidance and room to do so and I feel honored as a counselor to be able to hold that space with compassion and respect. I walk beside my clients with a belief in their ability to overcome adversity. Sometimes we just need to be shown that we are capable of maintaining and making healthy choices in our lives. I believe that with empowerment my clients will be able to realize their own internal knowing and compass. Helping my clients to become more able to see beyond the forest is the most important way we can truly be agents of lasting growth and change. Our greatest difficulties can be life’s greatest gifts in disguise if we can translate their messages by working with the unconscious parts of our minds. Within a shame-free and caring environment, I will provide you with a safe place to share not only your troubles, but just as importantly, your hopes, dreams, and ideas.
