My Background and Approach
My specialties include the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics and Accelerated Resolution Therapy for trauma, Attachment Based Family Therapy for adolescents living with depression, Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for self-injury and suicidality. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy emphasizing self-compassion for anxiety, life’s transitions, sexuality, and gender identity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I bring a comprehensive perspective to mental health care with experience across all age groups and diverse settings. I earned a Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago, a Bachelor of Social Work degree with a certificate in Substance Use Disorder Counseling from The University of Utah, and I am dedicated to continuous learning. I am committed to supporting your healing journey, fostering safety, confidence and autonomy. I am passionate about suicide prevention and have volunteered with Crisis Textline for 4 years. I’m a part of the LGBTQ+ community. When I’m not at work I’m working with my horses, playing guitar, reading a good book, or spending time with my family.
