How We Can Help You
ACC provides sessions both in-person and via telehealth. Availability and fit will be influenced by the Mental Health Interns (MHIs) and associates on staff and their areas of specialty focus: please see our website to see who is currently on staff and accepting clients. We prioritize collaboration between our clients and their clinicians, and support this with intentional supervision in order to provide the most effective and holistic care possible to clients. Our supervisors operate from the belief that with authentic unwavering support, individuals can be empowered to navigate through challenges with strength and resilience. This applies to both the interns and associates on staff, as well as the clients who entrust their care to ACC.
Our Values as Mental Health Practitioners
ACC strives to create a sense of community within the clinic, where everyone feels welcome, accepted, and heard. ACC understands the importance of building connections and relationships in order to facilitate both healing and growth. We work to be a safe space for all identities, and we are particularly here to provide gender-affirming care, LGBTQIAA2S++ support, and an anti-racist and anti-oppressive environment both in the counseling room and outside of it. We also acknowledge that everyone is on their own personal growth track, and folks are accepted no matter where they are-- we just ask that you be open to considering there is always more growth to be had. We encourage ourselves and you to explore identities, beliefs, and values, because overall, we believe that self-awareness and self-acceptance are essential components of personal growth and transformation.
