These include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, compulsive behaviors, ADHD/ADD, relationship conflicts, sexual issues, life transitions, professional difficulties and post-traumatic stress.
My Background and Approach
I take a culturally competent and holistic approach, tailoring my care to each individual’s unique needs and understanding that everyone’s path to well-being is a personal journey. By combining my knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, I collaborate with clients to create treatment plans that align with their goals and lifestyles. My priority is to foster a safe and supportive space where clients feel empowered to take an active role in their mental health care. I integrate various forms of psychotherapy alongside medication management to ensure each treatment plan is personalized and effective. Victoriya has experience in working with individuals, couples and families of diverse ages and cultural backgrounds experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, compulsive behaviors, ADHD/ADD, relationship conflicts, sexual issues, life transitions, professional difficulties, post-traumatic stress, personality disorders, substance abuse and addiction.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply dedicated to my work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and my personal beliefs are at the core of my practice. I have had the privilege of collaborating with several nonprofit organizations in Brooklyn, NY, where I've been actively involved in providing essential mental health services to displaced women and children who have sought refuge from the devastating war in Ukraine. My passion is rooted in creating safe and nurturing spaces where healing and rehabilitation can take place. I firmly believe that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, deserves a chance to rebuild their lives and find a path towards emotional well-being. In my practice, I make it a priority to provide a voice for those who may have lost theirs amidst the turmoil and uncertainty they've faced.
